GoodFellas is magic. Casino is mostly tedious, without any of the pizzazz or charm that makes GoodFellas memorable. The parts in Casino without Pesci or Stone are pretty good, but that doesn't leave much of a movie.

The way I see it, Goodfellas is just the story of this one group of friends in the Mob, but Casino is the complete story of the rise and fall of an empire due to a few men's greed and pride.
